ec9cf2a85c Rename namespace dawn_native to dawn::native.
But keep a namespace alias to avoid breaking project that depend on the
previous namespace name while they get updated.

Done with through the following steps:

 - git grep -l dawn_native:: | xargs sed -i "" "s/dawn_native::/dawn::native::/g"
 - git grep -l "namespace dawn_native" | xargs sed -i "" "s/namespace dawn_native/namespace dawn::native/g"
 - git cl format
 - Manual fixups in generator/templates (and the addition of
   namespace_case in dawn_json_generator.py).
 - The addition of the namespace alias in DawnNative.h

The changes should pass through the destroy changes such that when the device is destroyed, the respective destroy functionality currently existing in the backends should be called.

For buffers, destroy no longer causes validation errors since even error buffers may need to be destroyed in the case of mappedAtCreation.

48183b8f58 Vulkan: honor bufferImageGranularity the simplest way.
Vulkan requires that linear and opaque resources be placed in different
"pages" of bufferImageGranularity size, as some hardware uses the page
table to contain some compression bits or other stuff. Make Dawn honor
this limit by aligning all allocations to bufferImageGranularity. This
is pretty bad and should be improved later.

Also does some cleanups:
 - Add kMappableBufferUsage to represent all mappable usages.
 - Remove the proxy function for resource management from
   vulkan::Device and call ResourceMemoryAllocator directly.
 - Use an enum to make the difference between mappable, linear and
   opaque resources.

This issue was found while doing a change of the memory type selection
in Vulkan, that started failing some unrelated tests on Nvidia. Without
knowing the details of the HW or the driver it is really hard to write
tests, except by copy-pasting a failing test. This is why there is no
test added in this CL, and instead will rely on tests not failing with
the follow-up CL.

76732abfe5 Properly implement per-dispatch synchronization scopes.
Below are the list of all the individual changes, which are a good order
in which to review this CL.

Core changes:
 - Change the tracking in the frontend to produce a synchronization
scope per dispatch instead of per compute pass. Some bindgroups might
not be part of any synchronization scopes so we also track all the
referenced resources on the side so they can be checked during
   Queue::Submit validation.
 - Fix clearing in the GL and Metal backends to use the per-dispatch
   synchronization scopes.
 - Fix the Vulkan backend to use the per dispatch synchronization scopes
to produce the correct pipeline barriers. This allows the removal of
previous logic that was subtly incorrect for Indirect buffer. This
allows the merging of the Compute and Render DescriptorSetTracker into
   a single small helper class.
 - D3D12 changes are similar to Vulkan, but the simplification is just a
the suppression of a branch with a lot of code in
   BindGroupStateTracker.

Test changes:
 - Fixup all the ResourceUsageTracking tests to follow the WebGPU spec
for synchronization scopes (fixing a lot of TODOs).
 - Add additional tests checking that Indirect buffers are not allowed
to be used as a writeable storage in the same synchronization scope.
 - Add tests for Queue::Submit validation correctly taking into account
resources that are bound but unused in compute passes.
 - Add an end2end test for using a buffer as Indirect and Storage at the
same time in a DispatchIndirect, which would previously produce
incorrect barriers in the Vulkan and D3D12 backends.

Other small changes (that I was to lazy to put in a different CL):
 - Add the utils::MakePipelineLayout helper function.
 - Fix Indirect not being in the list of readonly buffer usages (caught
by a test added in this CL).

2ce4b905b2 dawn_native: Prefix all API methods with API
This means that calling wgpu::Object::DoStuff will translate to a call
to dawn_native::ObjectBase::APIDoStuff. This will clarify the
difference between reentrant calls and internal calls in dawn_native.
Avoiding issues in the future.

This CL only changes the code generator to prefix with "API", performs
renames needed to make the code compile, and adds TODOs for things that
should be fixed in follow-up CLs.

1c4a7f780f Fix the initialization of the buffers with MapRead and MapAtCreation
This patch fixes the issues on the initialization of buffers with
MapRead usage and mappedAtCreation == true.
1. The buffers with MapRead usage and mappedAtCreation == true can be
read from the CPU side just after the creation of the buffer,
however at that time the internal pending command buffers may not
be executed, thus causing the buffer is not cleared as is expected.
2. On D3D12 the buffer with MapRead and mappedAtCreation == true is
created on the READBACK heap, so all the data written in the CPU
side cannot be uploaded to the GPU memory. When the buffer is mapped
again all the original data written through the CPU pointer will be
overwritten by the data in the GPU memory (which means it is also
   cleared to 0).

This patch fixes this issue by:
1. clearing the buffers with mappedAtCreation == true on the CPU side.
2. on D3D12 making the buffer with MapRead and mappedAtCreation == true
use the staging buffer instead of mapping itself.

Note that this change is only related to the code path with Toggle
"nonzero_clear_resources_on_creation_for_testing" enabled, currently
we don't plan to do the similar change when we enable Dawn wire.

1318c603d9 Don't rely on null::Queue::Submit resolving mapping operations.
In the validation tests, we relied on Queue.Submit(0, nullptr) to
resolve mapping operations. This is fragile so we replace it with a
FlushMappingOperations() function that uses device.Tick() instead.

This allows removing the mapSerial argument from
Buffer::MapRead/WriteAsyncImpl (which was the actual goal of this CL).

91904cdfde D3D12: Simplify the mapping logic.
This also removes the reliance on BufferBase::IsMapped to know whether
to unmap on destroy. This call was confusing because it was used by the
D3D12 backend to know if its own storage was mapped, but semantically
seemed to check for Buffer::State::Mapped (and not MappedAtCreation).

1325ab1251 Add Buffer::Get[|Const]MappedRange
This CL adds GetMappedRange reusing the existing GetMappedPointerImpl
call in dawn_native. In dawn_wire tracking is added to keep a
Buffer::mMappedData around.

Tests are added to test the result of Get[|Const]MappedRange in all
buffer states.

cf1fdf413c Handle OOM buffer allocations better
This CL checks buffer sizes before creating map read/write handles.
It is an error to map a buffer that can't be addressed on the CPU.

It also changes client-side synchronous errors on mapAsync to be
normal map failures, and not device lost errors. These should be
recoverable.

The CL adds additional testing for really large, but not UINT64_MAX
buffers, and fixes a VVL warning when buffer allocations exceed the
size of their memory heap.

13f4650155 Add tests and fix (create) mapping zero-sized buffers
When creating a zero-sized buffer mapped, StagingBuffer creation
is skipped. This required adding a new MappedAtCreation state
since mStagingBuffer couldn't be used as a tag value for that.

Made the OpenGL backend always create non-zero-sized buffers.

Finally added tests for MapRead/WriteAsync and CreateBufferMapped
of zero-sized buffers.

e89b48768b Validate texture usage scope with storage textures in one render pass
This patch adds the validation rules on the texture usage scope with
storage textures in one render pass.
1. Write-only storage cannot be used in combination with anything else
in the same render pass.
2. Sampled and read-only storage are allowed to be used in the same
render pass.

This patch also adds dawn_unittests to test the storage texture usage
scope in one render pass:
1. read-only or write-only storage only
2. read-only or write-only storage + sampled
3. read-only or write-only storage + output attachment
4. read-only + write-only

This patch also removes kWritableBufferUsages as it is not used in Dawn
at all.

c64242d4c2 Make RefCounted derived objects have private destructors
RefCounted (and derived) destructors should be protected on the class
to ensure the objects can ONLY be destructed by calling Release. This
avoids errors cause by destroying objects out from under code which
has an active reference count.

Unfortunately, many of the 'base' classes must continue having public
destructors because they are used as "blueprint" objects created on
the stack.

Added final on most-derived classes.

Ideas for future improvement:
- Change "base" objects to have protected destructors but create new
blueprint objects that privately derive from base objects. This
limits the blueprint object's usefulness to only be a blueprint.
- Modify createX methods to return Ref<Object> instead of Object*
