36edf8d850 wgsl: Fixes for new validation failures
Values of array and matrix can now only be indexed by a constant value.
Dynamic indexing requires the value to be held in memory.

44fc6e3ab5 Remove DAWN_SKIP_TEST_IF -- Part II
This is the last patch to replace DAWN_SKIP_TEST_IF with
DAWN_SUPPRESS_TEST_IF or DAWN_TEST_UNSUPPORTED_IF. With this patch
DAWN_SKIP_TEST_IF will be completely removed from Dawn.

41c87d973a Removed deprecated CreateRenderPipeline path

5e6a092703 Deprecate renderpass color/depth .attachment
As of https://github.com/gpuweb/gpuweb/pull/1352 the spec indicates that
GPURenderPassColorAttachmentDescriptor and
GPURenderPassDepthStencilAttachmentDescriptor should use .view rather
than .attachment to indicate the TextureView associated with the
render pass attachment.

0da94c3d66 Use __VA_ARGS__ for texture expectation helpers/macros
After we applied __VA_ARGS__  in macros and use {x, y} and {w, h}
to replace (x, y) and (w, h) in EXPECT_TEXTURE_RGBA8_EQ and
EXPECT_TEXTURE_FLOAT_EQ, we can use the more general macro
EXPECT_TEXTURE_EQ. Then these two macros can be removed. Austin
has already put a TODO for this change but didn't do that.

utils::MakeOrigin and utils::MakeExtent are removed because they
are not needed.

In addition, this change removes 0 in callers for parameter level,
because level's default values is 0 in helpers implementation.

4eb40c1849 Implement 3D texture copy: preparation
This is a preparation CL for 3D texture copy. It refactors texture
result comparison MACROs and their implementations, in order to
add texture result comparison for 3D texture. Prior to this change,
texture result comparison supports 1D/2D texture only.

b00de7f8e8 API evolution GPUExtent3D.depth -> depthOrArrayLayers (Step 2)
Still leave deprecated `depth` functional as there are some references in
other clients. Using `depth` and `depthOrArrayLayers` at the same time is
invalid. Add DeprecatedAPITests.

bbc235425b Use tint::transform::Spirv
The new tint::transform::[Spirv,Hlsl,Msl] transforms sanitize the tint::Program for the given backend.

The tint::transform::Spirv transform handles edge cases for sample masks (crbug.com/tint/372). We can now enable these tests.

Rework dawn_native::[opengl,vulkan]::ShaderModule::Initialize() so that transforms are applied *before* calling ShaderModuleBase::InitializeBase(). This is done as InitializeBase() wants to validate the SPIR-V, which requires the pre-processing of tint::transform::Spirv.
InitializeBase() also performs shader reflection which needs to be performed on the post-transformed program for the information to be correct.

57fcd17625 Fix translation of storeOp "clear" on Metal
Previously, resolve was not performed if storeOp was "clear".
Resolve should occur iff a resolveTarget is provided, regardless of
storeOp - storeOp only controls the regular render target.

30805557e6 Enable use_tint_generator w/ test suppressions for SPIR-V based backends
This runs dawn_end2end_tests both with/without use_tint_generator on
Vulkan, OpenGL, and OpenGL ES backends. This is a temporary solution
until we add an dawn_end2end_use_tint_generator_tests suite in the
bot configuration after all backends can support use_tint_generator or
have the appropriate test suppressions.

2fe7335d34 Skip two MultisampledRenderingTest tests on D3D12 with debug layer
This patch skips the following two dawn_end2end_tests on all D3D12
backends when the D3D12 debug layer is enabled as they started to fail
after the upgrade of Windows try bots.
- MultisampledRenderingTest.ResolveOneMultisampledTextureTwice
- MultisampledRenderingTest.ResolveInto2DArrayTexture

ab04da48f4 Enabling alphaToCoverage
Added the alphaToCoverage functionality with some
end2end tests. There is no validation for disabling alphaToCoverage
mode if SV_Coverage is statically used by the shader yet.

1c9e045024 Fix a bug in PassResourceUsageTracker.cpp
In a render/compute pass, if a texture is used as the same usages
across its subresources, and it is also used as different usages
across its subresources. We should mark that it is not used as the
same usages across its subresources for this pass, and we need to
visit every single subresource to track its usages transition.

67cd013b62 D3D12: Workaround incorrect debug layer error handling
Retrieval filter was receiving errors that shouldn't be
stored or not storing new errors. Since these errors are
never reaching the storage filter or being stored without
being filtered, this workaround removes the storage
filter entirely and filters them upon being retrieved.

After the change, two new E2E tests fail
backend validation and require further investigation.

4234d78201 Deprecate TextureDescriptor::arrayLayerCount -> size.depth
This updates CL:

 - Adds a deprecation warning to use size.depth instead of
arrayLayerCount.
 - Changes all tests and samples to use size.depth.
 - Adds deprecation tests for the change.

In particular the state tracking in TextureBase isn't changed yet
because it requires non-trivial changes in the backends. It will be done
in a follow-up CL.

8a437947a8 Introduce Device::GetDefaultQueue and deprecate CreateQueue
This makes all backends register the default queue at device
initialization time, so that the same queue is returned by
each call to GetDefaultQueue.

All usages of CreateQueue are replaced by GetDefaultQueue
except a couple ones that could use the queue initialized by
DawnTest::SetUp.

A deprecation warning mechanism is added so that users of Dawn
can now that they should upgrade their usage of the API. It also
comes with a backdoor so we can test that they are emitted.

New DeprecatedAPITests are added that will contain tests for
deprecated APIs, and will also check that deprecation warnings
are produced.

The special casing of GetDefaultQueue in the wire will be done
in a follow-up CL to ease the review. It happens to work through
the regular wire mechanisms at the moment but returns a different
object on each GetDefaultQueue call.

6c1d646ee9 Change extern const DawnTestParam helpers to functions
If these extern variables are initialized after DAWN_INSTANTIATE_TEST,
they will be zero. Change them to be function calls instead.
Since they're function calls, fold in arguments from ForceToggles to
enable/disable toggles.

84a57756db Vulkan: Choose D32S8 or D24S8 depending on availability
The Vulkan spec mandates support for only one or the other, which is
why we have the concept of a depth24plus format. This also adds a Toggle
to test both formats in DepthStencilStateTests.

Finally this renames ForceWorkarounds to ForceToggles because toggles
can be more than just workarounds.

700cfe7664 Implement D3D12 Native Render Passes
Uses D3D12 native render pass API when possible. On pre-RS5 builds of
Windows, Dawn will fall back to a software emulated render pass. A
toggle was added to provide test coverage to the emulated render pass
implementation and used in tests that test render pass functionality in
particular.

6df81ebf1d Support for resource heap tier 2.
Enables mixing of texture and buffers in the same heap.
This allows better heap re-use and reduces internal fragmentation.
A toggle has been added and enabled by default.
