Converts each of the native API backends to use RPD2 natively, started
converting the old format to the new one in the deprecated entry point,
removed all other handling and validation of the old format, and turned
on the deprecation warning.

Corentin Wallez 50f995851d DeviceBase: Make object creation use ResultOrError<Ref<T>>
This is in preparation for a change that will change all the
CreateFooInternal to be CreateFoo so they can be called in a
reentrant manner without special refcounting.

This also standardizes all the backends (except OpenGL and Null)
to use Object::Create that returns a Ref<T> or ResultOrError<Ref<T>>,
something we wanted to do for a long time.

Corentin Wallez 5931c0ac3b ShaderModule: Don't use Format::Type for reflection.
Previously Format::Type was used instead of wgpu::TextureComponentType
so that ::Other could server as a tag value. This was confusing and
almost the single use of ::Other.

In a follow-up CL the format baseType is changed to be a per-aspect
value, and Format::Type. This CL is a self-contained step in that
direction.

Corentin Wallez eec9edfd57 Standardize the use of UNREACHABLE in switches.
A lot of our switches over enum values use the following pattern:

    default:
        UNREACHABLE();
        return foo;

This is problematic because when adding a new value to one of the WebGPU
enums, there is no compilation error for switches that are missing it.
Currently we're supposed to write code and tests and fix UNREACHABLEs when
we see them.

Instead we should strive to have most switches on enums to be complete
and explicitily tag unreachable values as UNREACHABLE. Some switches
might still want to use default: UNREACHABLE() if only a couple values
need to be handled out of very many.

In this CL we go through all the UNRAECHABLEs and change them if need
be. Also an ErrorQueue class is added to avoid having
QueueBase::SubmitImpl just be UNREACHABLE (and force overriding
instead).

Rafael Cintron c64242d4c2 Make RefCounted derived objects have private destructors
RefCounted (and derived) destructors should be protected on the class
to ensure the objects can ONLY be destructed by calling Release. This
avoids errors cause by destroying objects out from under code which
has an active reference count.

Unfortunately, many of the 'base' classes must continue having public
destructors because they are used as "blueprint" objects created on
the stack.

Added final on most-derived classes.

Ideas for future improvement:
- Change "base" objects to have protected destructors but create new
blueprint objects that privately derive from base objects. This
limits the blueprint object's usefulness to only be a blueprint.
- Modify createX methods to return Ref<Object> instead of Object*

Kai Ninomiya f44a809f9a Remove VK_DEFINE_NON_DISPATCHABLE_HANDLE magic, use explicit VkHandle wrapper
Overriding VK_DEFINE_NON_DISPATCHABLE_HANDLE changes the function
signatures of Vulkan functions, changing their ABI and making us
incompatible with real drivers. This removes that magic, and replaces it
with an explicit wrapper, VkHandle, which has much of the same
functionality as the original VkNonDispatchableHandle.

It adds definitions for dawn_native::vulkan::VkBuffer et al, which
shadow the native ::VkBuffer et al. This retains type safety throughout
the Vulkan backend without changing every single usage.

Notably, the following things had to change:
- An explicit conversion from VkBuffer* to ::VkBuffer* is needed for
arrays. This is implemented as a reinterpret_cast, which is still
safe as the new VkHandle still has the same memory layout properties
  as VkNonDispatchableHandle did.
- When pointing to a VkHandle as an output pointer, it's now necessary
to explicitly get the native ::VkBuffer (via operator*) and point to
  it.

Jiawei Shao 55a00c7a1f Set writemask to 0 when no fs output matches color state on Metal and Vulkan
This patch fixes an undefined behaviour on Metal and Vulkan when there
is a color state whose corresponding fragment output is not declared in
the fragment shader.

According to Vulkan SPEC (Chapter 14.3), the input values to blending or
color attachment writes are undefined for components which do not
correspond to a fragment shader output. Vulkan validation layer follows
the SPEC that it only allows the shader to not produce a matching output
if the writemask is 0, or it will report a warning when the application
is against this rule.

When no fragment output matches the color state in a render pipeline,
the output differs on different Metal devices. On some Metal devices the
fragment output will be (0, 0, 0, 0) even if it is not declared in the
shader, while on others there will be no fragment outputs and the content
in the color attachments is not changed.

This patch fixes this issue by setting the color write mask to 0 to
prevent the undefined values being written into the color attachments.

With this patch, the following end2end tests will not report warnings
any more when we enable the Vulkan validation layer:
ObjectCachingTest.RenderPipelineDeduplicationOnLayout/Vulkan
ObjectCachingTest.RenderPipelineDeduplicationOnVertexModule/Vulkan
ObjectCachingTest.RenderPipelineDeduplicationOnFragmentModule/Vulkan

Yunchao He 108bcbd5c9 Split AttachmentStateDescriptor, in order to match web idl
AttachmentStateDescriptor was removed in web idl. Its format info
for color attachment and depth/stencil attachment were split and
added into BlendStateDescriptor (renamed to ColorStateDescriptor)
and DepthStencilStateDescriptor (became optional) respectively.

This change makes dawn project match the revision in web idl.

Yunchao He 6e308846c2 Unify the compare function for sampler and depth stencil
Both sampler and depth stencil include compare function, and we
need to change it to appropriate functions for different backends.
In order to avoid code duplication, we put it into a util file
for every backend, then include that file and call the function
from where we need it.

We can put similar functions which can be shared among different
objects into the util file in future.

Shaobo's patch has already created such a util function for compare
function for sampler. This patch removes the duplicated compare
function in RenderPipeline for depth stencil descriptor, and call
the function in util file instead.
